I am heading to WDW in August with DH, DS (6) and DD (9). We'll be staying at CBR for several nights and I want to end the trip with a stay at a Deluxe. I've stayed at the CBR before and really liked it, also went to AKL and enjoyed that too, but want to try something new in the Deluxe category. I like hotels with a laid back atmosphere, with down to earth patrons. Which Disney Deluxe would best fit this bill in your opinion? I want some place where I can walk down the hall in my flip-flops with my laundry bag in hand and not feel like I'm breaking the dress code. What would you suggest?

POLYNESIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You will love the laid back atmosphere and tropical ambiance of this resort. Plus the location can't be beat. If you can splurge, get a lagoon view room and request the Tahiti building for great view of the castle!!!!!!!!!!
Either Polynesian (much shorter walk down those hallways because of the separate buildings) or BC. If you want laid back tropical--Polynesian is the place. If you prefer the Atlantic seaboard laid back--go BC.
My preference is Polynesian--flip flops rule there!

POLYNESIAN!!!!!!! Again, it ha a very laid back atmosphere and the background music realy sets the mood. The transportation is great to all parts of the world from there too. Have a great trip. The Contemporary is very nice too if you like the Jetson feeling. The atmosphere is at a quicker pace than the Poly. IMHO

Scanne, Tess, and Disney Denise - Poly was my gut feel, too! We went to the Kona Cafe a couple weeks ago, and I really liked the interior/feel of the Poly. Now... if I can just pull up the link to Tikiman's website. For some reason I can't get in there
