Could someone confirm this for me:

I will be staying at BWV in January and will have relatives from Ireland staying with us. The wife and I have annual passes but I was thinking the guests should get the LOS with the 10 % discount. Reading the member benefits section I noted that all members of the party have to buy the LOS pass in order to get the discount. Does anyone know why this is or has anyone been able to get the LOS for their guests without buying them themselves?

We were able to get UMP's (with the discount) for our guests at OKW last month. We have AP's and did not get the UMP's. They also offered to drop first and last day from the pass. You should be fine.

Yes, we too have purchased discount UMP for guests. If your guests will be there more than eight days, you may want to go annual pass any way.
