Looking for a way to get the BEST DEAL

Want to take the kids on a 4 day cruise Memorial Day weekend or early June and I need cheap, cheap, cheap-anyone ever done a walkup to the terminal? We will be in the area. Thanks for any help or advice!!!

What I have heard is that the walk up rates are the absolute highest price - they do not discount to fill up the cabins at the last minute. One of our table mates once booked a cruise while she was at WDW. It cost a fortune at the last minute.

Because of port security, walk-up reservations are not allowed at DCL. You are not allowed in the terminal unless you are on the existing passenger list. DCL also does not discount at the last moment like other cruise lines.

You could probably get some really great rock bottom prices, but they would be on another cruise line. We leave in 10 days on DCL, and I checked last minute pricing just in case my neice and nephew wanted to join us, and the price was double what we paid originally. ouch. Needless to say, they are not coming with us!! You can practically steal a last minute cruise on RCCL or CCL. Good Luck. Sue
