View Full Version : Can you Pool Hop at Universal Hotels???

My best friend and her family are staying at the hard rock on the weekend of 12/5-12/7. My family cant arrive on the 5th so we were going to meet them there on 12/6 for one night -BUT HRH is sold out of one night stays for 12/6... I can book at the PBR or RP - but can my family hang out at the Hard Rock Pool with my friend and will our room cards work there for buying food/drinks. It is my best friends daughters birthday weekend and they are renting a cabana so we can have a party for her so I definately want to be able to hang out at the HRH all day.

I will continue to hope that a one night stay becomes available but need a backup plan incase it doesnt.

Absolutely. you can pool hop at all three hotels . Your card works as well for charging at the three hotels.:goodvibes

thats great to know - thanks for the quick response. One more question... can you walk from RPR to HRH or will we have to drive/or take the water taxi. Or should I stay at PBH since that is closer to HRH?

You could take the boat from RPR to City Walk and then walk over to HRH which is about a 5 minute walk from the boat docks.

Otherwise it would be about a 15 - 20 minute walk from RPR, through City Walk and then on to HRH.

The walk from PBH to HRH is about 5 - 7 minutes. We do it all the time.

If you have a couple of families, you might want to look into renting a cabana for the day at HRH. It is great fun and a wonderful place for the families to hang out with shade, tv, a fridge and a ceiling fan in the tents.

This past summer we spent almost a whole day pool hopping after the wet rides in IOA. While there caught lunch at Hard Rock by the pool.:thumbsup2

pool hopping is one of the best things at the universal resorts. we do it all the time.
