I just came across 2 apps in iTunes for the iPhone/iPod Touch. One is an interactive park map for Magic Kingdom (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=289224933&mt=8) , the other for Epcot (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=292996176&mt=8).

Has anyone seen/used either of these?

No, haven't used them yet, but just downloaded them along with the Disneyland one. We may be heading to California in the spring. Thanks for bringing them to our attention. :thumbsup2

Well, so far, no luck. I downloaded them, try to open them, they crash.

eta: tried restarting my phone, they still won't open.

We received an email a while back from a listener who said he made a shortcut to the maps we have on the DIS on his iPhone and that they work great.

While they may not be interactive they give you great detail when you zoom in.

They can be found here http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/index.htm

That's what I have used in the past. But with that, you are relying on the speed of the AT&T network, or hoping to find some random open wi-fi connection.

Perhaps 3G is faster, but on the 2G phone, the maps are quite slow to load. I was hoping a native app would be a lot faster than that.

Another option would be saving the maps down to your computer and then using "AirSharing" to get them on your ipod/view them.

AirSharing is a program that allows you to view documents (pdfs, office files, etc) and its FREE!

I got mine working....it wasn't a problem with the apps. Turns out I couldn't open ANY of my apps, had to call support, reset evrything, delete all aps and re-sync. Now everything works.

BTW, I thought I read that Airsharing would eventually have a cost associated with it. I think it is free for an initial start period then there will be a charge. So download it now rather than later.
