View Full Version : Room Breakdown at OKW, BW, VWL, VB, Hilton
I know this has probably been posted before, but does anyone have the number and type of rooms at all the resorts on hand? Hearing all the difficulty people are having getting into BW lately I thought it might be helpful if we all had this info on hand so we might understand why it is so difficult vs other resorts.
My public offering statement has OKW at:
Grand Villas - 27
2 Bedroom - 274
2 Bedroom w/1 Br lockoff and studio possible - 230
Total # of vacation homes 531
Number of buildings 52
Square footage: Studio - 376 sq.ft
1 BR - 942 sq.ft
2 Br - 1333 sq.ft
Grand Villa-2022 sq.ft
Anyone from the other resorts care to list their information. I realize demand plays a major factor in availability not just the number of rooms.

Vero has 6 beach houses/Grand Villas but I'm not sure how many are declared into DVC inventory.
I think the new buildings at OKW might not be included in Bob's post.
My Multi site Public Offering statement had the data I was looking for.
Rest of DVCS are as follows:
Boardwalk
Studio - 97
1 BR â 130
2 Br (1Br w/studio lockoff - 149
Grand Villa â 7
VWL
Studio â 8
1 Br - 7
2BR (1Br w/studio lock off) â 11
2 Br - 16
The only thing I couldn't find was how many Inn Rooms VERO has as opposed to just plain studios.
From all of this you can see what you are up against when making a reservation.

The VWL counts seem way short - that must be only the units declared so far into DVC.
Also, the BWV seems a little short to me also. Might it also be only the declared units at some point in time???

The VWL one is short and does apprear to include only units already dedicated. The BWV one is accurate as it has a total of 383 rooms and the division is as shown by BobH.
According to the VWL FAQ on Deb Wills' site, there are 136 units at VWL.

I am sure you are all correct about the VWL numbers being short. The multi resort public offering statement figures were taken from my copy that was given to me in OCT of 2000 and probably only reflect the number of units Disney decided to declare as of that date.
