If you want to do a character meal at the Liberty Tree Tavern, do you have to buy a park ticket in order to get there? We are planning on going to the area, but are not planning on doing any of the parks. We did want to do a couple of character meals.

Anything inside a park (like Liberty Tree Tavern) requires park admission. Eating at a resort restaurant does not require park admission though. Some resorts have character meals, if that is what you're really looking for.

Didn't they discontinue the Character meal at this restaurant?:confused3

Yes, they are. I can't remember the exact date, but it will no longer be a character meal in the near future.

The date is January 5.

I am so sad:confused3 about this . This is one of our favorite character meals. Are they doing another character meal at a different restraunt in Magic Kingdom in place of this?

No they aren't, unfortunately.
