I included this info. in my trip report, but I thought that it bears repeating here. Hubby and I have no children, and we think that Disney offers a much better adult experience than RCCL, primarily because of the adults-only areas. On all of our trips, I keep an eye out to see how strictly the rules are being enforced, and I'm rarely dissapointed.
On our cruise last weekend, on two occasions in the span of time right before the safety drill, kids came to the adult pool. Both times, a crew member was there within minutes to redirect them. This is not unusual, except that on both occasions the kids had been brought there by their parents (usually they just wander over themselves). One of the parents put up a big fuss, arguing with the poor crew member. He said, "But the pool is practically empty!"
That may be true, but what he doesn't realize is that he is paying for the availability of the kids clubs, which I will never use. Conversely, I am paying for quiet, uncrowded adult areas...being practically empty is the whole point!
Kudos to Disney for having the guts to enforce those areas, even when faced with the complainers. That is why I always recommend them as the best adult cruise.

Thats one of the reason we booked with Disney!
We have want to do a family cruise. BUT......... sometimes mom and dad need time away from the kids ; )
My boys 9 and 11 are excited about the clubs and when they are there we will use the adult only areas.....Glad to know Disney
enforces this!
