:smooth: Does anyone know when the Fall discounts for WDW Resorts will be available? The one out now goes until 9/30. I'm planning a November vacation. Thanks. :Pinkbounc

Make that 2 of us that are looking for the AP information. Going in November also!

Make that three.....have the WL booked, but would love a code or an ap pass rate......only 205 more days for me! I keep seeing a television advertisement for The Sun (Baltimore) that a special Disney ad will be appearing in the May 19th issue! Do we dare hope that they are codes that will extend through November?
Keeping my fingers crossed (XXXXX):bounce:

I'm waiting for November, too! Last year, the November discounts came out in July.

I noticed that MVMCP tickets have already gone on sale, though. Last year, they didn't go on sale until August 13th. (I remember because it was my DS's birthday.) So, let's hope that some discounts will be released earlier this year!

I will be happy to post, but I'm sure Mary at Mousesavers.com will have the same discounts listed. She usually gets "inside information" before they come out. Another poster said he saw the same thing for the Washington DC paper advertised. Maybe it will be a major city campaign?

The "codes" are available to all Anuual Pass holders. Anyone can call CRes anytime and ask for the annual pass discount. However, they only release them quarterly & you need to call fast to get a room in the place of your choice. You then need the annual pass at check-in. I'm between annual passes so need a headup when the next Mickey Monitor is sent out. Good luck to all of us.:jester:

I read somewhere that the Mickey Monitor is due out this month. I just got AP's in Feb, haven't received a Monitor yet.

I'm planning on getting a ap pass for our trip, but do I need it in my hand to get the ap rate or do I only need it at check in ?
Thanks, Darlene

Hi Darlene-

YOu don't need to have your annual pass when you make your reservation. In fact, you don't even have to have it the moment you check in (you just have to get it the first day). From what I understand it's a pretty good deal because you can book the AP rate and then watch for better codes. If a better code doesn't come along you can go and purchase your AP's from your local Dis store before your vacation!

Erin, thanks for the info. Now I have 5 months to hope for a code or ap rate to come along..

We are also between annuals. I had heard that you don't need your pass to make the reservation, only when you check in. We would probably get to WDW, get the annuals & then check in at the resort if we had an AP discount.

Has anyone every done this?

We stayed at All Star Music this past February with the Annual Pass rate -- $49.00 (before taxes) - when we checked in we only had our 'voucher' to get the actually annual pass with & we were not even asked for that!!!!

I always get confused about the voucher thing. How does that work? When you buy the voucher is that when the AP becomes active or is it when you turn the voucher in?

Also, did you get your voucher via the Internet, phone, Disney store?

Also, do you turn the voucher in at the TTC, guest relations at your resort, guest relations at a park or a ticket window at a park?

We got our 'voucher' from the Disney Store - they had to send for it - took less than a week. The resorts do not take the 'voucher' -you turn it in at one of the ticket windows at any park & they give you the actual pass that is activated at that time. If you were renewing an old pass it is activated from the day your old one expired!! That part gets confusing for people. Hope that this helps!!!

 I was patiently waiting for a discount for Nov. too until I took the plunge and rented points from a nice DVC owner. ( hi Krisitin). I needed 2 rooms at the BWI, but a 2 bedroom villa at the BCV was $1000 cheaper! ( and I had the BWI with the DC rate). This is the best discount I have ever received!! and I get to try out a brand new villa!! I am so excited!! If anyone out there is in the same boat, give it try. Samantha

Anyone have any further info on the May 19th Baltimore Sun ad?

I was wondering as well about this. I also noticed on Mousesavers that the current codes have to be reserved by May 19th. I have my fingers crossed that the next round of discounts will be released soon. Does anyone know about how long in between it usually takes for new discount dates? I'm Patiently (yeah right-LOL) waiting for November/December discounts.
Sandy:)

We did the DVC rental thing also for Nov. I am so excited. We are actually staying at OKW for a week, but our renter put us on a waiting list for BW. Hopefully we'll get it. We only have one day to fill.

We are also renting from a DVC member @ OKW, but we want to extend our stay and give POR a try. The resort looks and sounds so nice. Right now POR is $50.00 more per night than what we are paying @ OKW. I'm glad we found someone to rent from. Now if I could save some more by a code or pass that would be awesome!

I'd love to get codes for mid October and February! I received a Mickey Monitor last week but I didn't see anything in there about AP rates for Fall....

Thanks to Dreams Unlimited, I was able to get the Ap rate ($60.37w/tax per night) for my entire 9/28 - 10/5 stay at ASMU even though Ap rates are out only through 9/30 and value season ends 10/01. Whatever rate is available for the first day is applied for your entire stay. Hope this helps someone.

Well, I just checked and there is nothing in the Indianapolis Star. So, anybody find fall codes in the Baltimore Sun and/or the Boston Globe?

IndyWDWfan,

I was wondering the same thing - I could not find any codes in the Baltimore Sun....

Well, got up bright and early and no coupons in the Baltimore Sun. The only thing I saw was a full page ad adverting hotels and their rates in Orlando. More of a visit Orland/Florida add than WDW. I had mentioned in an earlier post that I saw a commercial saying there would be big news in the May 19th issue of the Baltimore Sun, but I never saw it again. I know I'm not crazy, because others have mentioned seeing it in their markets. Oh well, guess I'll just hope there are some fall codes that come out later.

Hi,

Called the AP line yesterday and was told the next round of AP discounts would be out in 8 to 10 weeks. Seems like that means the end of July. Anyone have any other info?
