Can you do this? We usually fly but with our family growing we are going to be driving this year (twice). However, for the same reason, we won't be fitting as well in our car anymore and were thinking of renting a van or SUV for the drive down. The prices we've been quoted so far are very high. MS seems to get good rates for airlines so I was thinking maybe they could do the same for rental cars. Any thoughts?

I just noticed that someone recently asked a similar question. After reading that I'm assuming it can be done. I'm guessing it won't matter if I rent here in NJ? (In other words, not in Florida)
Sorry about the repeat question!

I have only rented in Florida. I do know if you rent in one state and return in another location it is very expensive. However, it doesn't sound like that is the case with you. I have made reservations with MS and have always been satisfied. Keep in mind, National Car Rental is the offical Disney sponsor. However, you can get good rates with many different companies and MS will give you all those options as well. They didn't seem biased at all twoard National.
