Staying at Dolphin for the 1st time - this weekend! Will I love it?

the DH and I booked a last minute trip to WDW! We seem to be doing this alot lateley - no complaints! But, we are staying at the Dolphin, never stayed there before. Am I going to love it? Any tips?

Try to get yourself upgraded to a room with a balcony, so you can have a view like this! Our view was spectacular, especially at night time! We had room 6025 in one of the wings.

Will you love it? That is hard to say. Have you stayed at other Disney resorts and which ones? Have you been to the Dolphin just to take a peak? I have stayed at alot of the WDW hotels (including the GF and AKL down to ASmusic) and I spent 2 nights at the Dolphin in August. I loved it!!!! :)

I thought I'd hate it and swore I'd never stay there. We ended up there for one night b/c Disney was totally booked. We fell in love with the place and now we make it part of 1/2 of every trip to Disney.

You just can't beat it for the price. Don't miss the shooting stars in the lobby, my fav. Their poolside cafe is one of our fav. eateries in all Disney. The views are spectacular. Have a great time. We'll be there in about 50 days!!!
