DAY FIVE ~ REST DAY!

I still wanted a Mickey wake up call, so at 9am the phone rings! I got up and went for coffee (CSR refill cups ~ not convenient and closes at 11pm!) We rested and watched TV until 11am. It was nice to lay around drinking coffee and letting the kids be kids. We went to TL after 11am for a fast visit. Love the wave pool! About 1:30pm we went back to CSR for a short rest and change clothes. We went to FW and had a late lunch at Trail's End Buffet. That's a nice treat! Inexpensive good food! DD had a pony ride, max. 80 pounds YIPPY, she's only 62 pounds! The kids loved the animals, I knew this would be a fun day for them. Back to CSR, ds slept about an hour. Since we weren't hungry with such a big hardy late lunch in us, we opted for ICE CREAM for dinner at BEACHES AND CREAM at BC. I enjoyed this evening sooooo very much! We strolled around the Boardwalk and lingered around BC and YC. Very nice places! We watched the sun set and the Boardwalk come alive! We picked up a few treats at the bakery and got back to CSR about 8:30pm. Nice restful easy day! Tomorrow, BACK TO MK TO OUR SURPRISE! Sandra

Welcome back Sandra. I have been thoroughly enjoying your trip reports. I feel like Im reliving my trip again when I read tour reports. I can't wait to go back. We might try driving next time to make it a little more affordable.
Later...Karen

Days off are great. Having the most fun in WDW requires you to be well rested and not a zombie. Even this Disney Nazi sees the need for some R&R :D

I found CBR to have the same problem with getting drinks in our mugs It's so spread out!)
I wanted to try CSR, but after your feedback & looking at the map layout I think we'll stick to POR or PO for our next trip (I like saving my walking stamina for the parks!)
Thanks SandraC, looking forward to your next report;)
