Usually when I go to DTD I eat at Earl of Sandwich. Always been happy with what I have gotten there. Well, I have been hearing good stuff about Wolfgang Puck Express. And now I am torn between the 2. What does everyone think? Several of the things at WPE sound really good. The Chinois Salad, those focaccia sandwiches and of course the creme brulee. I'm so confused. ;)

I say try Wolfgang's this time. I love their Caesar or Spinach salad. The Earl is good but Wolfgang's is great for a change.

:rotfl2: How funny, i've thought the exact same question recently.....i LOVE Earle and I make special trips to DTD when I am in orlando on business just to eat there at least twice during my trips. and when i am at WDW on vacation, we always make at least one visit to Earle if not two.

but i've heard great things about Wolfgang Puck's too......so i am tempted to try, but can't let go of my Earle obsession. what to do!!! :confused3

Try WPE next to the Christmas store.

We eat there frequently.

Earl of Sandwich has become the arrival day place to eat for me. Great food and pretty easy to get in and out of. I've eaten at WPE and while the food has never been bad it's never been a must eat at type of place.

I went to Wolfgang Express once, about a year ago, and it was NOT a good experience. We ordered our food (I got one of the pizzas, my fiance, she got a salad), and went outside to eat under the canopy area. About halfway through eating our meals, we began to notice a few cockroaches running around. Then more appeared. Under tables, on tables, on the window glass of the restaurant...we're not talking about just two of three of these guys. OK, so it was outdoor seating. I can understand at least somewhat, how it might be hard to control them out there. So we picked up and moved inside. And we saw them in there too. To say we were grossed out is an understatement. It was horrible. We never went back. The actual food might have been OK, but the bug situation has tainted our memory of it all.

Now, supposedly Wolfgang Express just underwent a renovation/refurb, and they supposedly changed their menu. Hopefully they took care of the cockroach problem. So it might be much better than it was when I tried it.

But if it's between Earl (which is SO good and relatively cheap), and Wolfgang, the choice is simple. At least for me it is.

We tried WPE for the first time during our visit in August and really enjoyed it! I had the Chicken Alfredo and frozen yogurt w/berries for dessert...it was really good. There were eight of us dining and everyone enjoyed it.

My mouth is watering just thinking about WPE. I think one of the reason we like Saratoga Springs so much is because it's very easy for us to walk over to WPE or Earl of Sandwich.

I would go back to Earl of Sandwich because their sandwiches are very good and because their prices are very good.
