My Tr!! Finally!! Haha Lots Of Pics

HI!!!!

ok, so finally im getting to do this!! here i go....

so me, my DH, DS and sister inlaw (brother was flying in that night) got to anaheim around noon on thursday, oct 2nd. we stayed at the ramada right across the street, which was sooooo nice, especially with a toddler! the walk was less than 5 minutes so i loooved that!! the hotel itself was ok; its no disneyland hotel, but for what we needed it was perfect. very clean, and pretty nice especially for the price. we stayed for only $99 a night! the other good thing about it is that they have a little food court and sell really good pizza til midnight...and they'll deliver it to your room! haha i was loving that. and they let us check in 3 hours early. it was our second time staying there, and i would definitely stay again

when we got to DL, we walked right in. it was pretty empty, i was quite surprised! there were not really any lines for any of the rides; it would say 5 minute wait, but that meant no wait at all. i think IJ was broken for a while, but they got it running pretty quickly. no ride had a longer wait then 10 minutes; space mountain said only 5 min! for most of thursday we walked around and . we spent a lot of time at WOODY'S ROUND UP and took tons of pics! it was sooooo cute! tons of fall decorations, carved pumpkins, a petting zoo with goats, and so much more...it was my little heaven. we spent a lot of time in toon town too, which we dont normally do. my DS loooved mickey and minnies house! DL closed early at 8pm that day, so we headed back to our room around that time....
on that day, i got my first chilli bowl!! it was amazing and only about $9. totally worth it!! we also got a pumpkin muffin...sooo yummy, and a cream cheese pretzel. I HAVE TO SAY THIS...i was dying to try this creamcheese pretzel, but it was TERRIBLE!! it didnt taste like a pretzel at all, and the filling inside was definitely NOT creamcheese. so i was sad. hahaha it just tasted like an un-cooked pretzel....i still get sick when i think of it. i dont know, maybe you'll like it, but i didnt. DH didnt think i was all that bad. heres some pics from thursday, our first day at DL:

So friday was our first FULL day at DL. we got to the park around 8:30am (its hard to get ready and be at DL right when gates open like i used to do back in the day lol with a baby and all now...) and surprisingly there was no line to get in! we just walked right in and it was kinda empty, which made me super happy. we did the usual coffee/cinnamin roll at BRB, and went straight to IJ. it was closed! haha so we went on jungle cruise (waited maybe 5 min) and DS loved it! he was kinda scared of the noise the boat made, but he loved looking at everything. then we did pirates, splash mountain (walked on both) and everyone did HMH, but i stayed off with the baby (he was too tired and would have cried)
the weather was PERFECT! we ran into jack sparrow and i must say...hes not very nice, so just be aware of that lol hes totally in character, and wont stop for pics or anything. he did steal my crown off my head and the people working with him got some pics of us together, but he wouldnt pose. that was friday jack sparrow....saturday jack sparrow was nicer and posed with all of us for pics:love: friday jack was mean to a little girl! that made me kinda upset
and i also didnt see many red shirts on friday...did the whole gay days not start til saturday?
so we were just at DL most of friday (very low crowds), and left around 4pm to get some rest and get dressed for the MTOTP that night! omg it was soooo much fun!! it was very crowded, but not to the point where you wouldnt have a good time. we saw some great costumes, and did looooots of trick or treating! there are long lines to get candy, but they go really quickly, and most of the time you'll get handfulls of candy. we also did lots of dancing! my son had a great time b/c hes a dancing machine, and they are really interactive with everyone, giving you instruments and stuff to dance with. they have picture stations with different characters; we took pics with the evil step sisters haha they're funny
and i rode tower of terror for the first time that night....ooooohhhh lord....it was bad!! i was not expecting it to be that bad!! hahahaa i loved it though, and i would totally ride it again.
oh and me and my sister inlaw wore high heels with our costumes...baaaad idea!! hahaha next year we will do flats for sure! heres some friday pics**LOOK AT MY HANDS IN SOME OF THE PICS!! IM WEARING THIS MICKEY PUMPKIN RING AND ITS SOOO CUTE!! IT LIGHTS UP!! THEY ARE SUPER HARD TO FIND AT DL, AND PRETTY MUCH SOLD OUT, BUT THEY MIGHT HAVE GOT SOME IN!! THEY ARE ONLY $3!! saturday...ugh!! crowds, crowds and more crowds!! it was soooo bad. we really didnt ride anything that morning, maybe space mountain and buzz (they were empty for some reason) then we did a character breakfast!! my first..at the plaza inn. i must admit, it was worth every penny we spent. we actually didnt eat much, i think i ate some eggs and bacon, but the time you spend with the characters makes it totally worth it! we had soooo much fun and got lots of great pics!! i will definitely do this every trip to DL now. after that, we did some pin trading and pretty much left DL early at like 1pm. we couldnt even walk with out bumping into everyone. it was bad...and also we were mad at all the disrespectful shirts and behavior around. so we went to DCA and it wasnt really packed, so we stayed there most of the day (mainly on grizzley river run. it was a little cold, but thats the best time to ride cuz theres no line! lol) and left around 7pm back to our room to change (we were all wet) and headed back to DL. still, it was very crowded, but we did get to see the great fireworks show and do some shopping. i also got a sillouette (have no idea how to spell that lol) of my sons head..its adorable and that lady is really good!! we stayed at DL til around 11:30pm and headed back to sleeeeeeeep. the next morning, we upgraded to AP's!! we were supposed to do it the day before, but the lady was really nice and still let us do it.

we got our halloween shirts at the MTOT...they basically had no shirts available til that night, but now they sell that shirt around DCA.
so all in all, we had a great trip! cant wait to go back!! and sorry this is soooo long! hahahahaha

Oh my goodness - I LOVE the picture of your little boy running into the arms of Minnie! That is so precious, it makes me want to cry! That is the picture that captures the essence of Disneyland! Actually, I love all you pictures - you and your husband look great together, and your sister in law looks familiar to me. I swear! I don't think I saw you anywhere (or I didn't notice you) but I am POSITIVE I saw your SIL. She looks very familiar to me - the hair, the costume, everything!

You know what else is funny? Cseca and I were both staying at the PPH during that 10/2 - 10/6 period, and I was in room 513 (room from hell) and she was in room 514, and we never met!!! What are the chances of that? We probably saw each other at the hotel or passed each other and never knew it!

This makes me want to hurry and get my photos developed. I did mostly 35mm this time because I had a bunch of film I was trying to finish up before I go all digital, but I also have my Photopass pictures to order! I wanted to do a TR but I didn't want to start it without photos!

You guys did ride TSMM, didn't you? I hope you didn't miss that! I am glad you discovered the wonders of the character breakfast. Especially when you can use your AP to get a discount! The food is always good, the characters are great and even adults end up looking like your son does in that photo with Minnie!!!! Anyway, your pictures make me want to hurry and get back to DLR ASAP! I wish I could be there tomorrow night, but I will be happy to make another visit around Christmas.

I can't see your pumpkin ring at all, but they DID have some cute merchandise. I ended up getting that Mickey pumpkin mug with the ears.

Well, at least the grounds in and around DLR are kept pretty clean so you know you are not likely to step on anything sharp in your bare or stocking feet! Your costume is really cute - I just don't recall seeing it at all, and I was telling myself "candy corn witch, candy corn witch," but never saw you. Your SIL's face and hair and outfit stand out in my mind, though. I think we walked right past her/you at one point and she must have stood out to me because she is tall (at least she looks tall). Or maybe I saw her being approached by the same survey CM that approached me!

You know the other Halloween item that was HARD to find (other than your pumpkin ring which I didn't see) was the Candy Corn Ears hat. The pumpkin ears were everywhere. The witch ears were pretty easy to find. The Candy Corn Ears were scarce - we only saw them in one or two stores, but there was plenty of cute Halloween merchandise and tote bags and things like that. And Marceline's in DTD was selling a big, FAT pumpkin cupcake - not a muffin. Did you see that?

haha shes not too tall...im just really really short! hahaha only 5 feet. shes probably 5'5 or something lol but shes got really long legs so she does look tall especially with heels. i cant believe we were probably right next to each other and didnt notice!

girl, let me tell you....ive never ever been 'thin', but since having my son, ive definitely packed on a few! lol but im totally fine with it, i think its just something we mama's do for our little ones to come out nice and healthy. i know some girls that dont want to get pregnant b/c they dont want to lose their figure....i think the joy having a child brings you is waaaaay better than the joy having a smokin bod' brings you;)

although, i wouldnt mind having a smokin bod! ahahahahahhahaha

and im sorry he wont dress up:( you'll still have a great time though!!

I posted a 4-part trip report (link is below), so there is a separate post for each installment. It is a lot to read (without photos). I was on a roll and couldn't be stopped!:cool1: :banana: Previously, I had just kind of done a 'highlights' thing, but in my TR I explain more about the poopy water issue and the DLR trip as a whole! I need to get back there!
