Or there is just way too much information to read and comprehend. It can get so confusing.

I was calculating what we might be spending per day for dining, snacks and other treats. Well NOT realizing that if you are on a dining plan that some (I have not checked them all) offer discounts to those that are on a dining plan.

So when I first calculated it I was ahead by $60 with the dining plan. Then calculating with the discounts I am saving approx. $100!

Um, hello?! I HAVE to add the plan into my package! How is it that I didn't see this before?

What discounts do they offer to dining plan users?

Unless you have a free dining package, you don't get a discount on the dining plan, and once you sign up your meals are prepaid so there wouldn't be a discount at the restaurant.

Okay I must not be understanding this right then. What is that 20% discount I see for the dining plan users on the restaurant info? See all this info they throw out is way to confusing.

I think you are referring to what was formerly called the Disney Dining Experience (which is now called Tables in Wonderland).

DDE/TIW has nothing to do with the Disney Dining Plan. It is a discount program for Florida residents and annual passholders, who pay a fee to join and get 20% off table service meals and alcoholic beverages for a year.

Unless you are an annual passholder or you live in Florida, you are not eligible to use TIW - and in order to use it you must pay for a membership.
