I have been thinking about loops alot today. I think I am obsessing about making sure I request the right loop. We are trying the new premium sites and I have requested loop 800. I read in one of TCD's wonderful reports that there are two sites by the comfort station that would not be a great location to be in. We have always been in loop 1400 but that won't be premium until next year so I am out of my comfort zone.:scared:

So, what is your favorite loop and why???

Are there any loops you would avoid at all costs?

Thanks guys!

Honestly I like them all. I like to be closer to the "action" so I really enjoy loop 100. But honestly for me its more about the specific site rather than the loop. I hate how some of the sites are like an island with standing water all around it...not for us!

I'm very interested to see the final changes to the loops!

Our last 3 trips we have had great sites in 100, 1700, and 900 loops. They have all been corner site with the front of our TT facing the road and not the back of someones RV. I'm thinking we will be in the 800 loop for Christmas. I think it will be the only premium pet loop open by then.

500 is open now and is supposed to be premium pet according to CR.

If you plan on using the comfort station then being close is not a bad thing. That being sad we don't use them so I really don't care where we are in the loop. We like the 200 loop. But we bring golf carts so again the loop dose not matter to me either.

We enjoyed the 600 loop. Found it located between both the Meadow area and the marina area. Good compromise as far as proximity to both places.

We don't use the comfort stations. I think it is part of the comforts of the rv. :)

We take our golf cart so being close doesn't matter. We were in 1409(going from memory which isn't that great sometimes :lmao:) on our first trip and we really liked that loop. So the next trip I requested that site but we didn't get it we were a little farther down on the little creek. I loved that location because of all the waterfowl that would come up to our site each morning. I had requested being on the creek for this trip. When we switched to premium I also requested to be on the creek in the 800 loop.

I really just don't want to be in a high traffic area like the comfort stations.

How is the 1000 loop?

Thanks guys for all your help.

Last year we had requested 300 Loop and we got it but couldnt fit and they sent us to the 800 loop (we had stayed there before) and it was right next to the comfort station and all we had to do was walk about 2 minutes to the bus stop. The 800 loop is a great location and a short walk to the Meadows Trading post..
Another thing I have found is when you have four people as we do (2 teenagers) its nice to just use the comfort station for showers..

We tent camp now, but back when we had a travel trailer, 800 was our favorite loop! Right across the way from the campfire/movie, very close to the Meadow Trading Post and the main pool, and not all that far from the marina.

Thanks guys.

becky1960- that makes sense if you have a group of people. I didn't even think about that as we don't have kids it is just my husband and myself and our yellow lab.

I am probably being pretty silly worrying so much about the loop.

Er.. actually 1400 loop!Going there in just 6 days for 2 full weeks! Like it cause we're in a popup and it is close to both the comfort station and the outdoor theater.

Does anyone have any experience with the 700 loop? That is where we are staying in Feb. For the life of me, I can't remember the loops we stayed in during our '98 and '99 trips. They were both REALLY nice and pet loops.. that is all I can say for sure. I'll have to see if the inlaws remember. :)

My favorite is also the 900 loop, I requested it, for our trip coming up starting Sun. I also asked on all my reservations not to be in the 1900 loop. 1700, 1800, 1900 i think will be the only sites that are not Premium, maybe the 100 and 200 also. I don't love any of those loops but are not willing to pay premium prices, so I guess that we will have to get used to them.
When will they tell you what loop your in, every time I call they say that they won't know until we check in. Is there a way you can find out?

You normally don't know until you check in. The only reason I know what loop I'm going to be in is I'm part of a Group Reservation, and part of our group has already arrived and they are in 900. (This is different than Grand Gatherings, this is a hard block reservation, minimum of 10 sites, and you are guaranteed to be together).

We've only been once, but we also stayed in the 600 loop and greatly enjoyed it. It was central to almost everything and the bus stop was right across the way if you wanted to get to the front of the campground to catch the MGM or Epcot bus.

It was also very, very close to the campfire and movie program,, but we had no problem with the noise either.

Really loved it! Right across from the Meadows, the pool and had it's own bus stop. Plus we tent camp so being just yards from the comfort station was great for us! Man I miss the Fort!
