how old do you have to be to be a member of the audience at a tv show taping? my son is 14, and I am not sure if he will be allowed?

Mostly you have to be 16. There are always exceptions, though, so check out the websites like Audiences Unlimited. Just google TV show tapings. If you like, you could try to go see a Hollywood premiere. They have them at places like the Egyptian theatre or at the Cinerama Dome (ArcLight Cinemas). It takes some detective work on the Internet, but they are out there.

i'm not sure but i think it depends on the show. when i was about 10 or 11 and in boyscouts, one of the dads was a Burbank firefighter and got us tickets to a Home Improvement taping. we were supposed to be 13 or 14 and we managed to get in. Then when i went to America's Funniest Home Videos and since it was a family show, my 5 year old sister got in.
