Today is my dh's birthday, so we are going to my mom and dad's for ice cream and ........wait for it................................................ ..............

I'm in a hotel room w/ dial up so no chat for me tonight, too slow.

But, speaking of cake, someone in my cousin's fire department made this cake that is awesome. You bake a chocolate cake in a 9X13 pan, as soon as it comes out of the oven you poke holes in the cake and poor sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce over the top. Put the cake in the fridge and cool it, then before you serve it you "ice" it w/ cool whip and sprinke w/ heath toffee bars pieces. mmmmmmmm

We had it for my birthday on Sunday and then I had to leave on Monday for a week, so I couldn't eat all the leftovers. I did have 2 pieces on Monday before I left. :rotfl:

I tried to pop in, but the kids were all hopped up and made it difficult to do much of anything that did not involve them! :eek:

The scrapbooking adventure was fun! We made birthday cards...I'm not much into traditional scrapbooking, but it was still fun!

I only watch tv 2 nights a week - Thursday and Wednesday. Maybe next week I'll try to multi-task and watch Lipstick Jungle and listen to Kevin and John and all you. I've missed it the last couple weeks :(
