We leave in 10 days, and I forgot to get sea safe lotion! Have any recent cruisers had problems with sea lice? thanks, Sue

Same here, no problems! We spent all our onshore days in the water without sea lice lotion and didn't hear of anyone running into any.
Maybe it was luck!

There were some rumours that a few kids had rashes on CC, but sea lice wasn't confirmed. We had sea safe on & had no problems.
Ron Jon's sells Sea Safe in their store. You can pick it up before going to the Port.

We snorkeled in Lucaya, Freeport last week and didn't have any problem with sea lice. On our April 2000 cruise we experienced lots of sea lice while snorkeling at the Blue Lagoon in Nassau. But the only place we felt the stings were around our lips.

We just returned on 5/2 and my DD, age 5, did get it at Castaway Cay. We had her take a few showers and it did stop itching, but I am pretty sure that is what it was. She had it within an hour of being in the water (that is when we noticed it first)
