Curious as to how most Cdns plan a WDW holiday! And yes I noticed my title for this thread is not appropriate for the questions, sorry!

I book just about everything online... but leave a few hotels along the route to finding them along the way.

I don't book ours online, although I could....I book with a Disney Specialiast TA and I love it!!!!
I used to book everything myself, but booking it through our TA is so so so so much better, personalized service, everything done without me hardly thinking of it, I can change things as many times as I would like, and it is someone to share in our excitement of our trip! (afterall, not many people understand a Disney crazy person) I also get everything sent to me in a nice little package with all our vacation plans put together!

For our trip last year, I used a TA. But for our trip next Dec 2009, I called Disney Reservations after I had researched it all online. I was able to book the WL for Dec 7-15, 2009 next year. Now I just have to decide how we're getting there.

This is our first trip to WDW, and just to be sure that everything goes smoothly, we decided to use a Disney specialist as well. She rocks!! :thumbsup2 I would do so again in a heartbeat....she does all the work (reserves the room, makes our ADR's, you name it) and it costs us nothing! :woohoo:

We are going nowhere in 2009. After 3 trips to Disney in one year we will not go back until spring 2010.:goodvibes

udsually rent a house through VRBO.com - we go every March....but this year rented a DVC memebers points for dirt cheap so staying at SSR in a 2 bedroom!! More pricey but totally different experience. I book airlines direct and always price shop until I am sure I find the best deal. Always try to have March booked by end of August.
Usually will book airlines online but this year picked up the phone as the system went down during my reservation.
Right or wrong, I don't use TA's as I feel they have mark-ups that cannot beat an online deal or negotiating with an owner......

Sounds wonderful! Aren't you concerned about it being or is it okay as it is before your cruise section?

Doesnt look like we are going in 2009. We went twice this year and were having another baby and buying a house in 2009. Plans are set for Feb 2010.
Is it Feb 2010 yet??

Don't understand. Are you talking about the extra days in between the two cruises? We have 3 days between the dates of the the two cruises. So we added those days to our land and Sea package before the cruise portion...
Hope I have answered or understood correctly....

I voted "other" We are DVC members so we booked at the 11 month window for May 2009. Still have to get airfare but we'll wait until after the holidays. We book everything ourselves.

I book most of everything online unless I can get a discount and then I will call to book the room or package.
If we are flying I will book that online too.
This year we are driving down since there are 7 of us going and we are camping at the Fort.

We have booked Pop Century through Disney. May 17th - May 23rd 2009. We just have to book our Air Fare waiting for the best price which from the past experience the seat sales come out in January. Also at that time of year Disney has offered free Park Hopper and more which also saves us some money.
