I can't help but laugh whenever I think "BLT"! Makes me hungry.

A lot of people didn't think they would keep the name because of the BLT acronym, but they did, and it is. Yummy.

I like the Name BAY LAKE TOWERS but not BLT so much - it does sound like i'm going to be staying at a sandwich.........................

I thought VCR would be the name and then even liked Kingdom Towers too. Oh well........

When the name was first announced, some people were saying that they thought it fit the Contemporary theme since the CR looks a bit like a toaster (especially when the building is viewed at an angle, as in the photo in alacazander's signature)!

Compare this 1930's vintage Westinghouse toaster (from toaster.org) with the photo in alacazander's signature!

There were a few other good jokes about the name but that's the only one I can remember at the moment.

can almost understand not having Contemporary in the name.

the CR does not have enough handicapped rooms. So under the law any additions (like CRV would be) would have to have a bunch of handicapped rooms.

this way DVC BLT only has to have 20% handicapped - like the law says - it is not an addition to CR. it is a separate resort.

if it has the same name - then it would have to more handicapped rooms - not 40% - but probably in the 30%.

my opinion - does not mean anything.

Kingdom towers are done away with because people here and on another site complainted of the religion overtones.

now Disney towers would be fine with me, or Magic kingdom towers would be great. but Kingdom towers by it self - no.

second what are they calling a building only 16 floors high a tower in the first place....:rolleyes1
