Hi guys! I know I mentioned Orlando Stroller Rental when we got back from WDW in Sept. (And no, I don't work for them). We rented a double stroller from them for our 2 kiddos w/ mult disabilities incl. ASD. Their strollers were all baby jogger and they were awesome. Even more importantly, their customer service was unbelieveable! I called Shannon at 6am because the stroller I had booked, according to POR, hadn't arrived. (Turns out it had, and had been put into luggage and forgotten by POR staff) Shannon was available to me, spoke to POR and myself, offered to do whatever necessary to get us a stroller in time for our 8am ressie. At the end of our trip, she went out of her way again, and when we got stuck b/c of Ike, let us keep the stroller-FOR FREE- until we were able to get home the next day. I don't know too many people who would have done that. Anyway, I mentioned to her that a good option for a special needs stroller was a real need, and guess what! She got some baby jogger liberties (YEAH) These babies are amazing, you can check them out on the baby jogger website. Shannon told me that the first 3 families to "test" these new strollers will get a weeks rental for only $50 (considering a wdw double is over $30 a day...) the stroller holds 100 lbs without being really "obvious" and is a lot more comfortable than a wheelchair, esp. with the canopy- I know my kids like a little "nest" when they get overstimmed. After the first three families, the regular price will go up to $120 I know that seems a lot, but these are over $800 retail, and it's still less than WDW for a superior product.
I don't normally "advertise" here, but I was really impressed by her product and service, and I was thrilled that she took the needs of families like "us" into consideration, and took action to provide this service.
Thanks for reading, and if anybody tries the new stroller, please let me know, I'm planning to rent one for our next trip:goodvibes

Trust me, if I had the money, I'd buy one; but we have the baby jogger ATS which goes up to 75 lbs., so we're o.k. for a bit. We just don't have room for the stroller, our stuff, and my ECV when we drive to WDW:)

Thank you for the information. It is nice to know there is an option in case my Emma gets tired of driving her wheels all day. She is only 5 and I often wonder if she would rather just relax in a stroller than drive all day in DW. I see "walking" kids riding in strollers all the time, even older ones.

My wife and I have been concerned about this for our son. The WDW strollers have been great for our son Jacob. But now he is too big for them. We are going to look into this as an option. Strollers look great.
