Okay, looking for the reality, not what is SUPPOSED to happen. One of our group will have to transfer from her ECV to a wheelchair for those rides that allow you to remain in the WC: like Aladdin, IASW, Jungle Cruise etc... She will be non ambulatory due to surgery. Are there usually wheelchairs easily available? I know there should be, but really, do they keep them on hand for transfering or are we more than likely to encounter problems because no wheelchair is available?

And does she transfer to a wc before we get in line, or after we get to the front?

A lot is going to depend on the ECV she is using. If it is a park rental ECV, she will need to transfer for more things than if she is using a small outside rental one.

For some of the attractions - like Small World and Jungle Cruise, she can be in the ECV thru the line. Depending on the ECV, she may be able to stay in it and ride it onto the accessible boat.
For Jungle Cruise, some smaller ECVs can be loaded into the accessible boat.

I don't have time to write much right now, but I hope to write more tomorrow.

She will rent from Randy's. His scooter is much smaller than the park ones. I didn't realize that the ECV could actually go onto some of them.

I will be in my scooter also, and we have done Disney with the scooters so we know we can just go in the line with them (except for PotC). I am just worried we will get through the line to the front and there won't be a manual wc there for her to transfer too. Or we will be told to transfer inside when we should have transfered outside. Or we will be told to transfer her outside, but there won't be any wc's out there! I have found that sometimes the CM's do often to be confused about exactly what needs to happen.
