Sandisk rebate

Sandisk is running a promotion with quite a few photostores... though it appears not to be hyped that much... purchases need to be made by Oct. 11 But the saving can be pretty good....For example a $40 rebate on a extreme III Compactflash 8GB card... I haven't looked at all the places that sell it but through adorama the final cost would be about $20...

Here is a link to the SanDisk rebate form... the second page lists all the retailers it applies to... I think you also have to have made the purchase with a Visa card.

Good post! I like to have my cards a little smaller, so I purchased the max number for one person (3) of the 4GB Extreme III cards from Adorama.com. It was $105 total with $75 in rebates, making each card $10!!! I remember years ago I purchased a .5 gig card for well over $50 so $10 for a 4GB just amazed me to the point I wanted to scoop up 15 if I could before the promotion ended.

On top of the 3 limit per person, I also picked up 2 for "my DH", even though he has no digital camera. Guess who those are going to?? ;)
