Today I did a local 5K with my daughter (she's 10). She placed second in her age group (12 & under) and 147 out of 370 overall. Her time for the 5K was 27:39. Looks like I may have a runner on my hands.

Hey Ken!! That is awesome that your DD enjoys running! That is a great activity for the two of you to do together. My nephew is running in a local kids race in a few weeks and he wants to run with me all the time, it is so cute!

Congrats for a great race!!!

Ken, that is fantastic! Running is such a great thing to do with your kids. I'm at the point where my oldest is running alot faster than me.....just wait until she's beaten you to the finish line and she's there waiting to cheer you in. It's a blast and makes me tear up every time. Be sure to tell her that we think she's AMAZING!!!!:cheer2:

Wow! That is fast for her age (or any age). I think you do have a runner!
