View Full Version : ?'s about tent camping at the Fort

We are thinking of camping at the Fort in July. Can anyone tell me if we can have 2 tents in 1 site ? We will be 2 adults with 5 kids and won't all fit in 1 tent.

Also is there internet at the tent sites or only RV sites ?

You can have two tents, the question is whether they will both fit on the site or not. Check out the thread that is a sticky pics of your campsite. There are some great examples of two tent setups. My family will be trying to put up two tents on one site at the end of this month!

We stayed in the 2000 loop last December and had plenty of room for our large tents. Both are about 10x17. We set them up facing each other. We plan to do the same thing in a few weeks, only I think I'm going to try to put the screen room between them too. We didn't really need it over the table and if we do I'll move it.

As far as internet at the tent sites, currently there is not.

However, Disney is in the process of adding cable to ALL of the loops including the tent loops. This is supposed to be complete by December, but they are behind in their original announced schedule. Once the upgrade is complete, you will be able to get internet by checking out a cable modem from the front desk and paying $9.99 per day for internet.
