All

This has helped a lot of people at my work and family, and so i thought this may benefit some fellow DISers to.

You can read the Newspaper article about it here:

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2009/01/27/child-tax-credits-unclaimed-over-700-000-may-miss-deadline-exclusive-115875-21074145/

and get the PDF form 11CTC from hmrc here:

http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/forms/11ctc.pdf

Basically if you have a child born between 1986 - 2003 which lived with you for at least part of the 2002-2003 tax year you can still claim back tax credits until January 31st. So hurry hurry

The only conditions of this tax credit are that they lived with you during part of this tax period. If you do earn a certain amount though then your rebate will be reduced.

I apologise if im doing something wrong here, I just thought this may be of help to some of the DISers here. You'll have to be quick though to fill it out and get it to your local tax office.

Hope this helps someone :wave2:

Thank you Thank you for this.

I have been trying to find out about this for several days now, when a friend told me she had heard about it.

Who would have thought it.....!!!

I know this may benefit some, but be aware that you may have already had this, in the form of a higher tax allowance for that relevant year. The HMRC website explains this more thoroughly :) .

Was recommended to try last year, I rang the local tax office and then on their advice put the query in writing and had a reply a few weeks later - we had already claimed, but there's no harm in trying.

I fill out so many forms, I've lost track of what I have and don't have. I'm going to apply anyway - if I've already had it, I'm sure they'll let me know.;)

Here's a link (http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/NEWS/ctc.htm) to all the info.

Basically, if your tax code for 2002/3 ended in H or T you've already had it but if not ....... HURRY!!

I'm just moving this to the Mousecellaneous thread as it's not Disney related but I'll leave a re-direct up so that no one misses it.

That's terrible Sky news has just said there should be 10 italians on that plane but anyway as Steve says the nationality doesnt matter.

i am just lucky that once i am there ash wants nothing in the shops except a balloon and some lollypops i was trying to force some teddies on her last time but she just wanted to get out of the shop and go on iasw again for the tenth time that day :lmao:

That can easily change:lmao:

I went to the Disney Store yesterday to buy Ariel pants for Anya - I'm under pressure to potty train her for nursery in Sept so I thought I'd give it a shot. She said either Ariel or nothing:confused3 In the end we compromised and bought a pack with all the princesses incl Ariel.

The trouble started when she saw all the other Ariel merchandise and wanted it all... The tantrum was hideous, just screamed and screamed...

My point is that she wasn't like that, never wanted anything from the shops but guess that's changed recently :rotfl:

good luck to you too... I hate TT with passion:lmao: Mia was very easy, said herself and never had any accidents, big or small... Anya is a character. We've had 2 days of hell and I decided to give up today when things turned to better, she's now telling me and even better doing it. :yay: Hope this is a start! It'll be great if she's done for our trip next month!!! A month to go!!! YAY!

So sorry, a bit OT :)

No problem, Ema. I've moved a couple of posts over here to the Mousecellaneous thread so they don't take Marcus's one too much OT. :)

Don't worry, I'm one of the worst for waffling on and on ~ I go totally round the houses then forget what I was initially talking about! :rotfl2:
