Wow, it's been a long nine months...

On January 31st, I used the last 100,000 frequent flyer miles I had, and booked our flights to and from MCO.

In April, I booked our room at SOG.

In early July, we made our ADRs - including breakfast at CRT at 8:05am our first day.

In the meantime, my brother and his wife decided to go. They'll get there a day after we get there, but it'll be a fun week.

All this, and our kids have no idea we're going. We've actually done something I never thought I'd be able to do - we've planned the whole trip without the kids having a clue of what they're in for.

And we've only got to keep the secret for about 18 more hours!:woohoo:

That's awesome!!!!!

I'm surprising my little brother with a trip to WDW for his birthday! I booked the room back in June, booked the dinner reservations, got tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, plane tickets, etc...

and he still has no idea! Three other people are going besides the two of us, and I'm hoping none of us blow it before December 9th (his birthday, we aren't leaving until the 19th). We're going to tell him then :D My godmother/aunt and her family decided to come as well, but they will be getting there the day after we do, and she and my uncle are going to surprise their kids, too!

I hope you guys have a good trip!!!! :dance3:

Wow I admire you for holding the secret for so long. I am not sure if I could ever be able to do it.

I booked back in March, have made all the ADRs, and booked BBB. We leave in 2 weeks and my niece still doesn't know we're going for her 5th birthday!

How are you going to tell them?:)

We have a couple of options we're considering. One is to give them an invitation to breakfast tomorrow in the castle. The other is to give them the caps that we bought that they can use too collect character's autographs, and simply tell them that they will need the caps while we're gone. Then let them figure it out.

Right now, I'm leaning toward doing the caps because our six year-old daughter may not be able to easily read the fancy font I used on the invitation - her brother would have to read it to her.

I don't know if this came across correctly in my original post, but my brother's kids don't know that they're going either. So tomorrow afternoon, all of the cousins will get another surprise when they find out that they're all at WDW. We're planning on getting them all together in the Magic Kingdom.

My wife's sister, her husband and their two girls are already at WDW - they arrived yesterday.

It'll be a family reunion of 12 at WDW!
