Bettering Corral Placement

I registered for the marathon with very little racing under my belt. I believe that I can better my corral placement with an upcoming race. Do I contact Disney and just send them my recent race result and new expected time? How long do they allow these changes to occur? If I were to run a half in November or December would I be allowed to send those in?

It's actually easier than you might expect to change your corral placement. Simply print out your race results from your recent race (I think they say on their website it must be since July 2006) and bring the printout to the Runners Relations booth at the expo on marathon weekend. Do this after you pick up your regular race packet at the expo (there will be cast members and signs all over the place when you get to the expo showing you where to pick up your race packet). At the Runners Relations booth, they will check your recent race time against a master sheet they have and let you know which corral you can move into based on the time.

I did this two years ago and they just placed a round "sticky note" over my corral letter on my bib with a new corral letter.

After you run your race(s), print the results, or take your finisher's certificate to the expo. Go to race relations, they'll verify your time, and move you to the correct corral if necessary. They put a new sticker over the corral shown on your bib.
