My mum's crockpot is plugged in with Crockpot Lady's chicken pot pie inside it:goodvibes The top still looks very wet - its got about an hour to go, so I hope it cooks up OK! I don't think my boys will eat uncooked topping :rolleyes1

Its 3.5 litres (capcity 2.5 litres) so I won't be doing anything very big.

It was yummy! The topping could have dine with another 1/2 hour or so to be a bit harder, but DS(15) was off to Explorer Scouts so we couldn't wait for that. And I should have sliced the topping before serving rather than just digging in with a big spoon - so it was not an attractive plate of food:rolleyes1 But it tasted good.

I used 3 chicken breasts, (one per person) but could have done with more "sauce" - I think next time I'll make my own sauce rather than using soup, as I'm not keen on tinned soups generally (too salty).

I've got strips of steak in at the moment for fajitas - but I've got to go and get peppers and salsa  Still, crockpot lady said the veg can go in later to be crisper so its not a problem.

The Fahitas were awesome! Best bit was not having to be frantic assembling because everything was nice and cosy in the crockpot:goodvibes I only used a little spice oput of a sachet from an El Paso fahita kit as we don't like things too spicy - 650g steak made 7 fahitas with a little over so DH can try one tonight:)
