Non denominational officiants?

Disney only gives us 2, and I'd prefer to have a guy....are there any other non religious notary wedding specialists that fellow DIS brides can refer?

I'm not really that religious, and DF is not religious at all...

and can anyone tell me the process? Do we interview the person? Get referrals? See his work/words? How does this work....:confused3

I feel like I kinda waited for the last minute for this....so I'm hoping to get lucky and find someone good...

Nearly all of the officiants Disney recommends will do a secular ceremony if that is what you want.

I have heard of brides in the past having a little more difficulty with Rev. Jack and Rev. Tim in that respect...but I have also heard from brides who said they did exactly what they wanted.

We used Rev. Kevin Knox and neither DH nor I are particularly religious. With the information Rev. Knox sent us, I was able to put together the ceremony just as I wanted it...taking out religious references when I wanted, leaving some in.

Don't get necessarily "put off" by the Reverend part...if there's someone here you've heard about and would like to find out more, email them and ask about your concerns.

Hi!! We used Ron Rosenzweig and LOVED him! He was great, responded to us quickly, and had many choices to choose from for the vows, etc. We aren't overly religious either, but we thought he did a great job and were able to tailor our vows, etc. to exactly what we wanted.

We will be using Kevin Knox. His wife asked about what we would like him to wear (robe or suit) and we said suit - so this makes it look less religious.

Hi!! We used Ron Rosenzweig and LOVED him! He was great, responded to us quickly, and had many choices to choose from for the vows, etc. We aren't overly religious either, but we thought he did a great job and were able to tailor our vows, etc. to exactly what we wanted.

another vote for Ron Rosenzweig! He did a great job with our ceremony, he memorized the entire thing, which i thought was very impressive. he was also very easy to contact whenever we had a question.

We used most of that ceremony too, but we used his wife, Teresa (he was booked so she offered herself) She wore a nice black suit and we were very pleased.

We booked Ron as well, based on the rave reviews here on the DIS. ^_^

I'll post a full wedding report later with how Ron does, but so far he's been really nice and accommodating to any changes we had wanted to make with his typical ceremony wording.
