For those of you who are going soon or are there already, please keep a lookout for the BB ROOM ONLY discount for 2009.

It was around this time last year that the BB Room Only discount came out for 2008.

I know about the BB FD that is out now, hopefully the room only is coming soon.

Thanks -- we'll arrive on 10/22, so will check them out. Any chance that MLK weekend will not be blacked out this year for room only discounts? I know you know everything.

We will be there 10/22 - 10/24 . . .it would completely stink if they don't have a BB offer in our room until the day after we check out . . .we have an AP so if we don't end up getting the BB at least we can try for a code with the AP for April 09.

Finding a BB in our room in May 08 though was truly magical!:thumbsup2 That is the reason we are BB in a couple weeks . . .:goodvibes

The BB is usually 20-40% off the room depending on what lever you stay at. You can still book a package but the discount is on the room only. Im pretty sure MLK weekend will still be blacked out but who knows!

Thanks, I also am expecting them to be blackedout, so did book my room at rack rate and expect to pay that. It would be nice to save a couple of dollars, but I booked through the AP website and added the dddx plan and the only value left for the night I needed was Pop. (none of the A/S were available for that weekend, so that was enough to make me not want to wait.) (We'll be at our DVC resort the rest of the week).

Newbie to the BB, I will be there in Nov, how does this work and how would I know if I qualify. If there is a BB out there but I did not receive one in my room is there a possibilty I could request one at check-in?

Check on here; if there is a BB offer, someone will report it (we'll be there 10/25-11/2). If a BB offer isn't in your room and the CM doesn't offer it at check-in (how we received it last year), watch resort TV. It's usually on there. If it isn't, take the information you've gathered from here and call anyhow. While it isn't technically offered to all guests, all guests staying during the current BB offer are eligible to book it.

We will be staying at the Boardwalk this weekend participating in the Tower of Terror 13K.:scared1: I hope there is a BB room only offer like last year. I was able to plan a surprise trip for my three boys. We stayed at the Poly. It was awesome! We could never have afforded the room without the discount.
It was such a great place for my boys. I hope we can go back.

sorry, I misread the title of this thread.
i had listed what was on the flyer in my room this past week but it was a BB with dining.

When I called to book, they told me nothing for room only released yet.

removed what I originally posted so not to confuse anyone here.

I'm here right now. There was no bounce back offer in our room and nothing mentioned at check-in (yesterday). I haven't had a chance to watch resort TV yet. Was just checking in to see if anyone else had posted anything about a current bounce back offer.

If someone would PM me if one--room only or package--comes in, I'd appreciate it!

Sorry, didn't mean to overly excite you. It's the AP rate. BUT, GP codes usually follow so there is hope for you yet.

Unfortunately, not so much for me. Or at least, no legs up. No bounce back offers appeared and we got home this morning. Here's to hoping for a email/postcard pin or a really good AP/Disney Visa/GP offer for 2009--end of September/beginning of October for an adult only anniversary trip and maybe June or August for a family trip!

I asked for BB offers and was given room only 30% off moderate and 20% off value for select dates. We decided to hold off in hopes of a better deal.

ooo that irritates me - I called repeatedly before I checked out on November 1st and there was nothing (because it had ended on October 24th)...this would really help me out ;(
It's definitely a bounce back offer, right? So you have to be on site now to book it? *shakes fists at Disney for waiting to release this*

If anyone finds out there are any discounts for deluxes and/or DVC (SSR or OKW usually gets included in deals, right?) will you let me know anyways? Just to torment me ;)

Current BB offer in room was 30% for Deluxes and 40% for DVC, but not 3 BR grand villas
