View Full Version : Are these aspects of the dining plan still the same?

When we went last time in early 07, we were able to just use one card for all of our meals (we were split into 2 adjoining rooms so we just alternated cards). The credits were over the length of our stay so we could use them as we pleased (like, 2 CS meals/day instead of 1snack, 1CS, and 1TS/day, for example). We were also able to split meals if needed (which turned out useful since half of us ended up sick and couldn't ever eat an entire meal).

I know certain things have changed, like tipping not being included and stuff, but are the things I listed still the same?

TIA!

We were able to use any of our three room keys to "pay" for the DP meals. We were all in the same room, so I don't know if separate rooms would change this. We could use our credits however we liked, on whatever days we liked. We were in the DXDP, so we had 3 credits/person/day. On some days we used 2 credits/person, and on some, 3/day. We didn't split our meals, and didn't substitute any of our TS meals for CS, so can't comment on that. We did notice some if the TS places cut down their portion size, though.

Sharing meals is still OK. Any room key for your reservation can be used to charge credits, and each of them will pull up the same dining credit info on the system.

I've wondered about that! Last time there was SO much food at each TS meal!!
