DIS Digi-Scrappers Challenge #25 (10/1 - 10/7)

Hey Disney Scrappers! It's finally my turn to host a challenge! It's been so long! :)

This is what I've come up with for this week.

You may have noticed that I LOVE to "sprinkle" my pages with things, especially with little glitter dots! So . . . I've created a little pack of glitter Mickey head sprinkles, which everyone needs to download (http://www.4shared.com/file/65178593/3765ab17/brittdes_dmicksp.html).

Here is your challenge:

- Use at least 1 of the "Delicate Mickey Sprinkles" in some way on your page (recoloring is totally fine!).

- Date your page in a creative fashion.

- Use more than 1 photo.

- Your photos can be of anything you like, as long as they are in some way Disney-related (Cruises, parks, costumes, Disney on Ice, etc. etc.).

That's it! Pretty simple, huh?

And even though everyone is getting a freebie with this challenge, I'll still be picking 1 randomly drawn LO to win my latest kit 'A Halloween Nightmare' (http://scrapmatters.com/shop/product.php?productid=746&cat=0&page=1).

Oh how I wish I was going. We had to cancel our trip (10/15-10/19) since I am now pregnant we didn't feel spending $1000.00 on annual passes was worth it - I can't remember the last time we just bought a hopper pass! Oh well we will take a big trip down there next New Years with the baby (then 7 months) and a 2 and 5 year old. Have so much fun!

I scrapped mine over the weekend. I was away on a woman's retreat at a B&B with no internet access. So I THOUGHT I did it right (sprinkles/more than one picture) but just saw I forgot the date when I logged on now. So I don't officially meet the requirements, but I'm posting anyways! Since I did it! :)

Wow. I am amazed at the talent of all you ladies. The layouts have been stunning. Even more so since I have found myself in a creative slump that I'll somehow need to come out of before midnight Tuesday! :laughing: Besides, the kit I ordered in order to complete the LO had some glitch, and they were just able to fix it. Here's hoping that I can get it done in time.

Great LO's ladies. Sorry I haven't had time to leave comments on everyone's work. Its been a busy week. My DD's marching band did well yesterday at their first competition, placing 2nd in their class. They receuved the top horn line award and received ratings of all 1's from the judges. She is the head drum major so she was the one to receive the trophies. It was a great day! I need to get Britt's new Witchy Woman kit because Wicked is the theme for our marching show this year!

I finally finished mine. I had all of these wonderfully fun ideas that I just couldn't get to work. I think that this LO is the 10th incarnation of the thing! No kidding!!! It was just too stressful of a week. So, the basic ingredients are there, but not what I had planned. In any case, I'm happy with the way it turned out.

EEk - the kids just got home from school so I gotta boogie, but here's the scoop on Walt's Trains: the Carolwood Foundation and Society (http://carolwood.org/) and the Los Angeles Live Steamers (http://www.lals.org/) if you want more information on them. If you're ever in the L.A. area (like going to Disneyland????), this is definitely a must place to visit. And besides, it's the only thing Disney that's absolutely FREE!!!! :banana:

Every time I see Cinderella Castle I'm in awe of how enormous it is! I'm just used to Sleeping Beauty castle at Disneyland! I know is quite a bit taller than Sleeping Beauty castle, but I think the forced perspective they used on the top definitely makes it look bigger than it is. Sleeping Beauty Castle I think is wider than Cinderella Castle. Both of them are pretty though. :)

I finally finished mine. I had all of these wonderfully fun ideas that I just couldn't get to work. I think that this LO is the 10th incarnation of the thing! No kidding!!! It was just too stressful of a week. So, the basic ingredients are there, but not what I had planned. In any case, I'm happy with the way it turned out.

I haven't been on the computer very much in the last two weeks.
Life is a little crazy - on the sad side - we lost two very close friends on 9/15 in a fatal car crash in Greensboro, NC. We traveled to NJ and PA to go the the funerals. They were only 40 and 33 - it is very sad.

On the happy side - I am two months pregnant with our 4th child!!!!:yay:

Congratulations! I am still trying to get my life back together since returning from WDW on 9/28. I didn't get a chance to join in this week's challenge. It didn't help that my dryer (brand new, less than 30 days old, I might add:mad: ) decided to stop working and left me with all the laundry piled up from our trip.
