June 9th 4 day cruise roll call

who's going, # in family, ages of kids (if any). 1st timer?, where are you from?

We are from Wisconsin and will drive down. There are 5 of us, all first timers fo Disney, hubbie & cruised with Carnival when I was pregnant with the first child. kids ages: 16, girl, 14, boy, 10, girl wil all be first time for them. We will go to Disney for Thurday & Friday after the cruise. We are cruising with our DVC club points.

It is my honeymoon - so no kids for us yet ;) The cruise is a wedding present from my fiance's parents.

We are from Huntington, West Virginia. We are driving too because I am just too scared to fly.

We are doing the Land/Sea and are staying at the Polynesian before the cruise. We are in cabin 6096 on the ship.

I have never been on any cruise before but my fiance has cruised 2 times but never on a Disney cruise.

We are both really excited about the cruise :D

We will be on the June 9 Wonder cruise. We are a family of three from the Houston Tx. area - myself, my wife, and our 6 yr. old daughter. This will be our first cruise. We will be doing WDW the week before the cruise. We can't wait!!!

My family will be on the June 9th Wonder cruise too!!! We are from Germantown(a suburb of Milwaukee) Wisconsin. This will be our first ever cruise. There are four in our family--My husband and myself (celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary) as well as our two boys ages 4 and 8.

We will be on the June 9th sailing too! We are having a Fairy Tale Wedding at Disney on June 6th, and the Wonder will be our honeymoon. This is both our first cruise, and we are so excited!!

CBEPPERSON, Great, sounds like your kids are close in age to mine. My 10 year old daughter will be glad to have a playmate too! I hope the 16 year old girl finds some her age and my 14 year old boy isn't too worred about it yet. Mainly the 16 year old is afraid everyone will be too young for her. They will (hopefully) hang out in the clubs, coffee shop, whatever and have a good time. I signed the teens up for the teen junkaroo in Nassau and the teen adventure in Castaway Cay. I hope there are others their age on it! Mainly, if they have fun, we will have fun.......I think we all will!

We will be there too! It will be me, my DH, my daughter is 15 and my son is 9. My daughter is really hoping there will be alot of teens on board. I don't think we will be seeing much of her. We are from Arkansas. People usually pick up on our accents right away.
What is the Nassau teen excursion? I thought it had been cancelled?

We got our docs around 2 weeks ago also, it was so exciting!!

Has anyone gone on the Dolphin Encounter at the Blue Lagoon Beach or heard anything about it?

The Teen Junkanoo Jam is for Nassau. The kids are on boat and there' music & whatever stuff teens like. It's for teens only. I prebooked it and they let me. She checked to see if it was going on and she said it was. I guess we'll find out if it's not when we get there. We also looked in to the Dolphin Encounter. It was already sold out. You may be able to book it through the individual tour. I tried but te site wouldn't go to it. There was a number to call but I didn't try it. We just decided to go to Atlantis instead. We also booked the Wild Side for the teens at Castaway Cay. It's where they do kayaking and things like that together or a few hours. I thought it would be good for the teens to do stuff with other teens and then havesome time with us. Too much time with us will make the trip BORING.... or something like that!

I guess you were right! I just called DCL and was able to book my daughter on the Teen Junkaroo. She will be so excited! I am positive that I read on here that it was discontinued.

You aren't crazy - I know that I saw someone post that the Teen Junkaroo had been discontinued too :D I even remember the thread said it was because kids were misbehaving on that excursion or something like that.

By the way - I noticed you are from Huntington Arkansas - I am from Huntington West Virginia. Neato huh ? :D

I haven't been on that excursion but I have seen pretty positive reviews on here about it. It may be worth going on :) I am just going to be lazy on Nassau day. We are not buying any excursions and are just going to explore Nassau on foot for a little and then just go back and enjoy the Wonder :)

Well since you asked nestlejean - I am going insane trying to get ready for everything going on in my life :)

I have been trying to do laundry and pack for WDW & the cruise- we are leaving for Florida on the 2nd so I have to go ahead and start packing. We have also been very busy moving into our apartment and trying to get all of the loose ends for the wedding finished. My wedding is at 12:30 on June 1st so I have very little time left to get everything done. We don't even have our marraige license yet :eek: After this past month of constant stress I really need a vacation :D

Nervous? I feel like I'm just about ready to jump off a cliff! It's not even the wedding/marriage part I'm nervous about, it's the packing for 2 weeks that is killing me. I have to get all my wedding stuff and vacation stuff crammed in the car before we make the 20 hour trek!!

Other than that--I can't wait to take this cruise!!! I've never cruised before and my friend just got back from the Wonder 3 weeks ago and is making me more and more excited for all the fun!!

I hope we meet up on the cruise, I'd love to meet you guys!!

Two families from northern Illinois will be on the ship. The kids ages are, Boy 15, Girl and Boy 12 and Girl 9. Second time with Disney, first time on the Magic. We are all really getting excited!

Well guys this is it. I am getting married in less than 24 hours :) and won't be back on the boards for almost 2 weeks :eek: I really hope I get to meet some of you on the cruise. I won't have any green ribbons but our picture is at the bottom of this post so you know what we look like - so if ya see us just come over and say hi.

There will be a total of 20 of us! (DH's family and their family friends). We have children ranging in age from 1 year to 8 years.

Now we are just counting down the days!

I think we get our dining rotation when we get on the ship. It may be in our rooms or they hand it to us at check in. I'm getting nervous, what will I forget? I have to pack for 5 of us and we are driving (2 days drive). I have LOTS to plan!
