Anyone doing this? I didn't see anyone on the WISH calendar.
Angie???

I am thinking about doing the half. I am doing Hampton the week before, but I want to keep races on the calendar to keep my behind in gear! :rotfl:

Kristi, you will have to let me know what you think of this event. Manchester is a SWA city, one of my requirements on my 50 state quest, along with a generous time limit and a cool medal!

Pat - where did you see the time limit? I was looking for it this morning & couldn't find it anywhere. I was hoping it was walker-friendly.

We are only 20 mins. away in Nashua.
We always fly SWA out of Manchester. Luv 'em! :thumbsup2

I'd be interested in hearing about this race too. I want to do a New England fall race next year. I miss Fall now that I live in FL!! I'm from Vermont and could combine this with a visit to family and friends. AND I can fly direct from tampa! I  SWA!

I did this race last year as my first half as a test for WDW. The weather was perfect but, I hit The Wall going up the steepest hill of the old course. I kid you not, most of the half was up hill. Since they changed the course slightly so I'm not sure how much still is going up. It was still an incredibly scenic and peaceful course.

It sort of had a time limit, where if you're slower (like me, finish time was 3:11) they encouraged you to be on the sidewalks after a certain point. I hit my runner's high going down Hanover Street and had to stop for traffic. The last person to cross the finish line was at over 4 hours. I'm not sure if it changed for this year.

See the mill logo? That was the medal for last year with the date and race on back. I love the long sleeved wicking race shirt I got.

Kristi, I just looked at the last years results. There were 819 finishers, only 13 of those took longer than 3:17, but the last finisher was over 4 hrs. So I guess you can still officially finish evn if you are slow.
