I was just wondering how far ahead should I book the Eurostar? I have to make sure certain people are going first and they may not know until November, for a planned trip 17th December. Is that still early enough?]

Has anyone ever found Eurostar to be full when booking close to a break?

When booking do you get seat numbers? or just turn up and park yourself lol!!

Do Eurostar ever have new offers per month because at the moment it saves me £140 by getting off at Paris.

Thanks very much :)

Hi i usually book my Eurostar seat the day the tickets I want to go for go on sale, means cheapest price etc.

I have booked a week before i wanted to go once and managed to get seats at a slightly higher price.

Not know Eurostar to do any offers, only if you book a hotel through them.

The general rule of thumb with Eurostar is, the earlier you book, the cheaper the prices. I wouldn't leave it to the last minute if at all possible... If it helps, you do get a young persons' discount if you are between 18-26.. Sign up to the newsletter at the Eurostar website, they always keep you up to date with the latest offers.

Besides, the journey from Gare du Nord to Marne La Vallee is only 30-40mins by train (with only 1 change,) so it may be worth getting off at Paris and training it and then spending the cash that you save at DLP!
