Its a little show on the Main Stage in Central Plaza where Mickey lights up the Candles on the castle for the 15th Anniversary. It happens every night usually when the park is closing.
I would recommend watching, it really for me is a magical moment.

Apparently it's not on during the Halloween celebrations. I will be very upset if it is not on.

It has been on everynight since the 15th Anniversary started so why i have no idea why it would not be shown during Halloween. It was shown last year as far as i know.

It wasn't mentioned as being performed every night during the Halloween press release and I think thats where I'm thinking that it's not on.
I hope it is, although if it's not then it will be another trip before March 2009 just to see it!!

I have no doubt Candleabration will be on every evening at park closing time during October (October 31st will be different, due to it being the special Halloween soiree). I think its not mentioned in the Halloween descriptions because its a normal daily thing, like Casey jnr character express etc.
I've seen it a couple of times, love Candleabration in the dark  . I wouldn't mind if we missed it, but I'm sure my Dniece won't allow any of us to leave until Candleabration is over lol.
Its worth seeing at least once.

We were there in May and saw it in the daylight, just did not have the impact I expected. I can't wait until January to watch it when I am expecting it to be on in the pitch black.

We watched it in feb this year on a pitch black, very cold, clear evening. It really was so magical, prob my best moment from our break. we hadn't stayed to see it til our last night which i think was what made it so emotional for me, knowing we were leaving the next day.It brought a tear to my eye!!have got a lovely photo, but haven't got a clue on how i would insert it into this text???:confused3 :rotfl2:

It was def on during Halloween last year. It was very sweet and dark enough at 7pm to have some effect. Guess we'll find out soon if it's on this year. I don't see why they would stop it because nothing else is going on at that time.

It is on. I've checked the programme for 4th - 10th October (beginning of Halloween season) - Candleabration is on every evening at park closing time.

We saw it on the programme so pretty sure it's on :thumbsup2 Must admit I was quite disappointed by this show (one of the only things I had a gripe with on our trip). I think mainly because it's just not dark enough yet for it to have an impact. Our first night we watched it at Central Plaza and tbh it was a bit of a waste of time - couldn't see much of the dancing etc. So much so that we didn't bother at all the next night. But last night, (our last night in the park) we went down to the castle end of Main Street and it was better - although still not fabulous as again the lighting let it down :( I think it would be fantastic if it were dark!

Does anyone know if Candleabration has gone back to its full show? We saw it last October and I really enjoyed it, the only thing lacking was that it was only dusk and to be truly appreciated you need it to be very dark. When they showed it in the summer they'd shortened it (obviously everyone was needed for Fantillusion:rotfl: ) so although it was beautiful seeing the Castle lit up in the dark I did miss the show with the characters and the dancers with the flags. I wondered if they'd put them back.

It was the whole show when we went the other week. They had the dancers and the flags and Mickey doing his little dance before he lit up the castle.
I love that show :lovestruc
