Annual Passes Sponsership Expiry Date?

On my recent trip I became an AP holder and have the form to sponser others to get an extra years Disney magic :wizard:

When i picked them up the CM's mentioned to me that if i sponsered 1 person by the end of October I'd get an extra 6 months. I however also seem to remember them mentioning November for some reason and am now worried that this is maybe a date when the sponsership for an extra year runs out?

Does anyone know anything about this and when the current extra year deal runs out?

The current sponsor forms are valid until 7th November 2008. Currently, you have to have 3 sponsored APs on one form, to be able to extend your own AP by 12 months for free. The offers do change though - the previous offer a couple of years ago was 1 sponsored AP = 3 months free, 2 sponsored APs = 6 months free, and 3 sponsored APs = 12 months free. I don't know what the offer may be after 7th November.
I have also heard on this board that the AP office may insist on you having all your sponsored APs on one form, and it being the up-to-date form, when you apply to extend your AP through having sponsored others.

My daughter got the "one-sponsor, 6 months free on your AP" offer through the post, and that offer has an expiry of 24th October 2008 on it.

You should also be aware, that you can't start sponsoring other AP purchases until you have had your own AP for one month.

thanks Elaine, that still means I have to wait 10 days or so before I can begin to sponser people.

Was just worried that if i don't do it now then I could miss out.

I suppose i'll just have to wait and see what the new offer brings.

Glenn once you are ready to sponsor just put up a request on the sponsor thread. the link is in The Very Useful Info sticky :)
