We booked our bounceback deal for 2009 from our room about four weeks ago. I told them I had a AAA travel agent and would like for her to own the reservation. With AAA, we get a preferred parking pass and a discount card(10%) for Marketplace gift shop. The card also gives various discounts on food at DTD. Other than that, if I need to change or add anything I don't have to call long distance.

It depends - if you like to have total control of your reservation to make changes, payments, etc then it is best to book it and keep it under your name. If you would like someone that will be there to answer your questions, make dining reservations. Let you know of any other offers that may be better for your dates, if any come out, then an agent would be best. My travel agent is currently offering a Disney gift card if you book a bounce back and transfer your reservation to them

A better deal? Neither. A TA actually makes a call an books with Disney on your behalf. The rates would be exactly the same.
However, you can only get a AAA package discount (which is a discount on the room portion of the package) via a AAA TA.
But for promotion codes, the numbers would be exactly the same.

Now, regarding BB, AFAIK, you can only reserve those while on site and with Disney directly. You can't use a TA for them...
