Main Street Bakery DDP changes

We had breakfast at the MSB two days ago and the lady at the counter told me it was the last day the cinnamon roll was covered as a snack on the DDP. Also, she told me the French Toast Loaf was no longer covered as a snack on the plan. She said lots of changes were coming the next day.

That's disappointing! We are going in Dec. and my DS loves getting his cinnamon roll at the Bakery on our MK morning. Why don't they wait til 2009 to make these types of changes? I wish they wouldn't make these type of changes in the middle of the year.

I suppose that is what happens when they offer free dining more often.

Someone will have to report if the changes actually happened. I have been given false information by cast members many times! Again, my snack credit worked for the cinnamon roll that day. That is the only real fact until we hear otherwise. I just wanted to give a heads up so folks can be on the look-out to see if that benefit is dropped.

You probably will still be able to get ordinary cinnamon rolls (perhaps from your resort). The cinnamon rolls in question are the gourmet variety sold only at the Main Street Bakery.

Does anyone know if you can use counter service credits at the Bakery? I know they have some sandwiches (at least one...the tomato mozzerella!), but I can't find anything about using a counter service credit there.

You can use your counter service credits there for the sandwich type items, a drink and a side and a dessert.

You won't be able to get into the park before opening unless you have dining reservations for CRT or CP. ;)

But, MSB usually opens with the park. :thumbsup2 We've enjoyed many a cinnamon roll there first thing in the morning. :goodvibes

It is there.

The french toast loaf is definitely not on the DDP as a snack credit. You have to use a CS credit for it (but get more from that -two drinks.)

I'm not trying to be a pain, bus as of 3 days ago the cinnamon roll was, is it still? Did they take it off the next day (as in has anyone been there since OP and not been able to get it)?

I think that people are looking for more concrete confirmation due to the OP's second post.

I have heard many reports that the French Toast Loaf isn't a snack credit. This is the first mention that I've seen about the cinnamon roll.

I don't doubt that they would change it though. It seemed like a "too good to be true" snack :)
