Question about Park Passes

We are going in November for 6 days and booked directly with disney. I'm presuming we just get a 5 day park pass and was wondering if these can be exchanged for annual passports? And how much it would cost? I think we would be paying almost the same as an AP for the 6 days anyway and could use the discounts :goodvibes

Hi,

If you've booked a hotel/tickets package with Disney for 5 nights, you will have park tickets included for 6 days.

Unfortunately, as they are part of a package, the tickets on their own have no face value, and so you can't use them to upgrade to an AP. You'd pay full price if you wanted to buy an AP (but you can get sponsored, to get 10% off the cost of you APs).

Unfortunately, the tickets included with you package can not be exchanged for annual passes.

The only tickets which can be exchanged (for a reduction) are single day tickets that are bought on the day.

Ah... thanks :) Was hoping to use the AP as a way to get BF to go back more often... lol

Not quite right as you can also exchange hopper passes bought separatly (not part of a package) - we did this with DS at Easter. We had bought a 4 day (3day with 1 day free) pass for my Mum at Christmas from the Disney store in the UK but only used 3 days so DS used the 4th day which we then exchanged for AP but we only got 1 day refunded as we did it on the 4th day of use (we knew this would be the case)
