Got a room at VWL on Friday before Christmas!!

Booked BWV for Dec. 20-23 at th 11 month window. Found out last week we were able to add a day so called on Sat. morn. to see what may be available.

We were willing to stay anywhere in a studio or 1 bdrm. for that added night and I was VERY suprised to get a studio at VWL!

I know it's the Friday before Christmas week, but just wondering how there was availability. Do you think I got lucky (obviously:woohoo:) or are there other issues here-economy, school vacations, more DVC rooms total, etc.

We have yet to stay at VWL so we're excited, but this is the last resort I expected to get around Christmas 3 months before.

Just curious as to what everybody thinks.

Congrats! I think you were very lucky! It is also just one day and a Friday night so that might have made it easier.

Have a great time. I really enjoyed the decorations at VWL last Christmas and know you will this Christmas.

Well public schools in our area are in session thru Dec. 23. Our first full day of vacation isn't until Christmas Eve. UGH! Why o why?
