Questions about Renting Wheelchair

Hi, we leave in 4 days and now my mind is running and I keep thinking of questions. My mom is 85 and is traveling with us. She gets around great at home but I know the parks will be way too much. Do we rent a wheelchair at the resort for her to use for our total stay or do we rent wheelchairs at each park? We are staying at BC and I'm concerned about the walk to Epcot, so can we use the chair from the resort? When using bus transportation, it would be way easier to just get the chair at the park. I would appreciate any advice!
