MYW package and AAA room rate?

I couldn't find this info so apologize in advance if it has been asked a million times.

I am just beginning to plan a possible trip for next September. We are hoping they offer free dining again. If we book the package with free dining can we also use our AAA to receive a discount on the room rate part of the package? I'm not sure how discounts work when doing the package. I have only stayed off-site and this would be the first time on-site.

No, you only get one discount at a time. Either AAA or free dining, but not both.

And remember, if you book a AAA package, you must go through AAA. Then your AAA travel agent will have to apply any other code, free dining or elsewise, to the package. AAA "owns" it, and Disney won't talk to you about it.
