Anyone have good ideas on what to do with left over snack and dining credits? What is prepackaged that can be brought home?
We have to pay for 7 days even though we are only staying for 5 because it is a timeshare exchange.
Thanks.

Do some TS that are 2 credits.
Also you only get 1 TS and 1 CS per night of stay, so if you want 3 meals a day, that doesn't cover it. I figure we will run out of credits unless we bring some breakfast foods in our luggage. You may come out just fine having the extra credits.

Is there any way to downgrade your dining plan? It seems that there would be almost no way that the DxDDP will pay for itself when you are only going for 5 days but paying for 7.
Now to answer what you asked...:goodvibes
There are prepackaged sandwiches at Main St Bakery, some resort food courts, and fruit and Mickey Krispy Treats all travel well.

If you have kids - you can get LARGE lollies at Goofy's Candy Co. Also the Make your own treats at Goofy's are snack credits.

Are you sure it even makes sense to do the DDP in your situation? It sounds like you're not actually going to save any money. You may be better off just paying OOP.

actually, we have ADR's for 3 Signature Restaurants and many others for TS meals. This is my DH and I's 20th anniversary trip - we do not want to skimp. We are also saving lots of $$ since we were able to do a trade through II. We have priced it using the basic DP, the deluxe DP and no dining plan. We figure that we would spend at least $200 per day on our own so it is cheaper to get the deluxe plan than the others. We don't want to do any CS meals and want the flexibility to order appetizers. With this in mind it is still cheaper to pay for the deluxe plan.
Actually, I've got ADR's that will cover all but about 2 meals. I just need some ideas mainly for the snacks. The lollypops were a good idea. Is there any other bagged candy that can be brought home?

Water, soda, churros, popcorn, all good snack credit users.

Some other snack credits that you may want to consider, are cotton candy, lollipops, gummie bears, cookies, there is so much, I even brought some pastries from Norway home and my parents loved them, there is a lot that you can choose from and they make great gifts for friends, family,
grandchildren, co-workers,and neighbors! the snacks are just great for anyone, that you want to give them to, it really makes them feel like you were thinking of them while you were at WDW, actually I used my snack credits as my eatable souvenirs, good luck cause you will have plenty of snacks credits, oh if I had your snack credits,The Main Street Bakery would have to put me out,oh my! those Cinnamon Buns oh weee!!!!:rotfl: I would bring 20 of them back if I could, but I cant say that I would share them with anyone:) well anyway about that last credit or so, although I know that you dont want to eat at to many CS you may want to use that last credit as a CS credit ,for a sandwhich, chips, and cookies from your resort food court, sunshine seasons, or EOS, it makes for a great little meal on the plane or for the car ride home.Hope this helps!
