I've just started scrapping again and have the as seen on tv cricut. The glue dots I used to love to use will not work on the small letters I'm trying to stick. So what is your fav sticky stuff? TIA

When I'm dealing with tiny little pieces, I use one of two different methods.
For just one or two little pieces, I just use CM's Glue Pen...a little dab and it's ready to roll. But, for when I'm spelling something out that was cut from my cricut and it's too tedious for the glue pen, I lay them on a sheet of Dry Bond and it works GREAT! :thumbsup2
QVC sells the dry bond books; I just bought another set of them...they seem to be the easiest place to find them. ;)

I usually use a Zig glue pen. Those work really nicely. The ballpoint tip one is pretty good with the smaller pieces when you're putting together shapes and such.
I use the CM glue adhesive pen as well. Love the ball tip feature, where ever you need a little dab, it's there. :thumbsup2

When I peel the little letters off my Cricut mat, I put them right away on an unrolled bit of X refill - not only puts glue on the back, but keeps them where I can find them until I'm ready to put on the page. (I do not use the X per se - just the refill.)

Does CM stand for creative memories and can I get those at a store or are they only available through a rep?

Another Zig pen user. I'm going to have to try the Xyron X trick tho ... I'm always losing those tiny little pieces and having to cut another.

I was using a Zig pen, until the tip blotted a huge amount of glue out one time and it got all over everything! I ruined my letters and I was very sad! Now I use a Herma Roller because it is tiny little stickies that can't bleed onto everything else! :goodvibes

Love the CM glue pen. Just a dab and it sticks. If the letters are chunky, like the Mickey font then I use my tape runner.

Yes, CM does stand for Creative Memories. As far as I know, their products aren't available through stores. You don't "need" to find a rep, though, as you can just order from their website. But if you want to find a rep, there is a link for locating someone local to you right on their page. If that's all you're buying, you might want to try to find a rep because the "official" shipping policy is expensive for just a couple items... $7 or 7% - whichever is greater. My old rep didn't charge that much as she always had a bunch of stuff in her inventory. Right now I'm rep-less though. :(
I use 3 different things: the little X refill, the CM glue pen or individual segments from the CM mini tape runner. (I peel them off with a pair of surgical tweezers I keep for crafts.)
I have to agree with the previous poster who said that the little X works great for keeping the letter together until you need them...like for large projects such as a swap or when I want to cut the letters ahead.
