We just closed at AKV (not bummed about that) but we got 160 developer points at SSR. I really wanted to go December 12-15 but there is nothing available.

I'm really bummed because I've always wanted to go during Christmas :(

Yes, that is pretty much the most popular time of the year for DVC members, along with Food & Wine festival in the fall. Just bad timing! I'd just plan a different trip with your developer points.

Just think -- you will have many many more chances to go to WDW at Christmas in the future! Another 50 or so chances, right?

I'd keep checking periodically. You might be able to get a few days in a studio and a few in a 1 bedroom combination.
