Yeah... I'm still hacking & sneezing - this thing is brutal I tell ya! I hate to go to the Dr cause I prefer to let my own immune system work things out for itself. No fever - so antibiotics would be a waste. The other reason I've not been here as much is Tuesday, Wednedsay & today are my 14 hour days, and by the time I get home I'm pretty much a zombie! (Well, I'm that way most of the time.)

Tomorrow I get to sleep in & GO VISIT WITH JEN in the afternoon!!:yay: :yay:

Saturday I get to sleep in & GO VISIT WITH AUNTIE, BOB, FRANK & DENISE!!!:yay: :yay:

I will trick or treat for beer. I've made peacock costumes for all the otters. It's been tough trying to train the otters to walk up-right and carry beer coolers for trick or treat bags, but they're getting the hang of it, I think. Now if I can only convince them that they have to share the beer with me, I'll have it made!

I've been dodging germs all week.:duck: My kids are sick, my niece is sick, my husband.. he's a sicko..wait that's not the same:laughing: ...his office is full of sick people. I have him spraying lysol on the computers :badpc: and phones. He works with my brother..he's sick..(I've been saying that for years.. but another thread all together:rolleyes: ) I'm not letting him ruin my vacation.

All I know is I'm goin' to Disney tomorrow..and I hope Deb is feeling better:wizard: (damn this wand, :headache: It's been giving me trouble lately)... pixiedust: there, ya go..Pixie dust for Deb! ...cause I"M ON MY WAY, GIRL! :wave:

I think I'm down to just the crap the original germs left behind. When I get an upper respiratory infection the cough hangs on for 2 or 3 weeks. The hell of it is, I went to my Dr on 9/17 just for a regular check-up. His nurse had a flu shot all set to go. I told her I had a mild sore throat & would that cause any problems. She took my temp, it was normal, so she said no problem. I got the shot. By Friday I was sicker than ever & was down & out for the entire weekend, including Monday. So, I don't know if I was getting this crap anyway or if it was further "enhanced" by the flu shot. Either way, I felt like doo-doo, and I had to miss meeting up with Frank & Denise & Sonya's family last Saturday. That's what really made me mad!:headache:

I'll still get to meet F & D tomorrow nite, but I missed Sonya & her family. Those germs stole that from me!!:headache: :headache: :headache:

Sorry you've been sick Deb! I'm sad that we didn't get to meet..but next time for sure. :thumbsup2 (Halloween??) This trip was very hectic trying to keep up with family anyway...and it was full of one mishap after another. It's very comical now that I look back on it (just not so much at the time)!

Hope you feel better soon! Those upper respiratory infections can be as bad as the flu sometimes. :sick: Get well soon and we'll drink a few on Halloween! :thumbsup2
