I am planning on getting my kids landyards for their KTWC's. Are there holes in the cards that the landyards can clip on to or do I need to find something that the cards can slip into?

You can use a hole puncher to punch a hole in your card, that way you/your children can wear around your neck. Make sure you punch it on the correct side, if not you may not be able to open your door. We purchase lanyards (Spelling?) from a boating supply store that worked wonderful for adults, they had a pocket in back for anything small (lipstick, extra roll of film). Good luck!

much easier to get the lanyards that you just slip the card into. The one's you can purchase in the gift shop onboard are like this and if I remember correctly, very inexpensive.

The ones on the ship are around $6.00 each with a DCL lanyard.

My kids kept their's in their kids club badge holder which clipped to their clothes.

I bough a lanyard as well as a plastic holder that is meant for a computer disk. The card fit perfectly. I got both at Staples.

I bought plastic "licence holders" from Wal-Mart's fishing department. They are a little bigger than a credit card. They have a "zip-lock" type closure on the top, and a hole punched through the top. Does anyone think these will work on a clip that I bought at Old Navy that hangs areound your neck???? The licence holders were only $1.97:confused:

I got the waterproof ones that Disney makes for the water parks. They were having a closeout on river country ones in the St. Augustine Disney outlet. They have narrow ones and wide ones (about 1 1/4 inches deep). Since they are specifically designed for the KTTWs I figured they'd be best. They are on a lanyard.

The ones they sell onboard for $6, is the case a "ziploc bag" kind of thing or is it hard plastic? Is it see-thru or solid? Is it one of those things the size of a cigarette pack or is it slimmer? Thanks for the input...trying to decide if I want to buy something ahead of time or get the one on the boat for my DD.

Adults wouldn't need one would they?

I think adults use them more than the kids. Kids really only need the cards to unlock the cabin door. The oldest, 11, was out late and would come into the cabin but the younger ones were always with us and would use our cards. In fact, I carried my seven year olds card most of the time. I got the pin lanyard, so I could wear my pins and carry my card safely, so it wouldn't fall out of my shorts pocket.
